You have the option for your turtle tank to be built with Glass or Acrylic
Currently three styles of Aquariums are offered in this building tool. Glass Braced Aquariums, Glass Perimeter Only Braced Aquariums and Glass Rimless Aquariums
Construction style refers to how the tank is assembled. Stacked build style;vertical panels are adhered to the top of the bottom and has trim with interior bracing. Floating bottom build style; vertical panels are adhered to the sides of the bottom and has no trim with interior bracing. Framed build; standard plastic frame.
Ultra Clear Low-Iron or Regular Float Glass is available for your Build
Trim color option of Black or White in addition to using Low-Iron. The trim is intended to hide the waterline and provide a finished edge on the top and bottom of the aquarium. CUSTOM Euro-Bracing options without trim are also available. These solutions include items such as True Tinted Glass (Smoked, Emerald Green, Bronze and White Frosted), Low-Iron in varying thicknesses (3/8”, 1/2” and 3/4”) and an INTERIOR CONCEALED WATERLINE. Using both Clear and Black Silicone on the same build. Perimeter and Cross-Bracing options. All options can be mixed together. You can create a one of a kind masterpiece. Dream it!

Interior Vertical Corner Seam Guards are available. These Seam Guards will offer additional build strength and integrity in addition to protecting the vertical silicone seams.
Concealed Sandline is an interior method of concealing the sand along the bottom of the aquarium.
You may have extra holes drilled, location will be identified during a design call
Two options available. Simple flat basking platform or dropdown backing platform. The dropdown platform provides an area for media material which can be used by female turtles during nesting. Turtle tanks longer than 60” can accommodate two platforms and ramps.
For turtle tanks longer than 60”, Glasscages can add a divider wall. This can be used to divide the tank into two compartments for separation multiple turtles.

Glass Cages has many types of overflows available that can be added to any aquarium build. The overflow is constructed with glass and then wrapped with acrylic. The acrylic acts as the overflow weir.

The Overflow Weir Teeth Gap is the measured distance between the teeth on the overflow weir.

Minimum suggested number of bulkheads needed for your build.
You may add additional bulkheads
Minimum suggested drain holes to achieve 10 times plus water turn over per hour. Can reduce or increase upon request.
Minimum suggested return holes to achieve 10 times plus water turn over per hour. Can reduce or increase upon request.
Suggested Standard Sump with three Chambers, four Baffles and two Bubble Traps. Other sump options available upon request.
Industrial Vinyl wrapping is available for your build. Most popular colors are Black and Royal Blue. A variety of colors are available to include custom graphics or your graphic.
Made with Smoked Tinted Glass. Used to simplify light mounting to the aquarium.
Black Starboard for the interior bottom is available. Typically used for bare bottom aquariums. The starboard will protect the bottom of the aquarium and eliminate any bottom reflection.
Glass Cages can make the glass euro-bracing without a lip to hold hinged aquarium tops.
Glass Hinged Tops are available. Glass hinged tops can also be constructed with an Acrylic back for notching purposes. Allows for component access without removing the Hinged Tops.
Screen tops are available as inserts, solid or hinged. Which would you like?
Glass Cages ships all Aquariums with a ¾” reclaimed Styrofoam Pad. An upgraded Black Polyethylene Aquarium Pad is available for purchase.
Would you like a stand and or a canopy for your build?
What height in inches do you desire for your stand. If placing a sump in your stand it is suggest to use a height of 30” or taller.
